If the terminals are pointing skyward, the left is the "B" , center "F" and right "A" Make any adjustment depending how the VR is mounted. Normally the VR is mounted so the terminals point to the right of the drivers side when facing the front of the truck
B = battery
F = field
A = Armeture (large diam terminal on generator)
