I have a 1952 M37. Over the last two weeks the truck has been getting harder and harder to start but once started it runs fine. I've been chasing carb. issues and spark issues. I can smell gas so I've been pressing the peddle to the floor to clean out the excess gas. I removed a spark plug wire and there was spark. I sprayed the butterfly valves with WD40 to make sure the springs were operating the valves properly. I added carb. cleaner to the gas to out the system. Could it be a failing coil? In the past it started within the first 20sec. no matter what the temperature. Now it starts the first time of the day but then starts hard after that. Any suggestions?
