Hello Chris and the rest of the forumn:

I didnt get to the punch earlier today in your discussion about Transfer cases in Dodge trucks of the 1980's. From what I have seen for 1980-1988?-is era, 1/2 tons and light 3/4 tons got a NP208... It seems to me, trucks during that time that had a Dana 44 front got the NP208, while Dana 60 front trucks got a NP205. Then in later 80's they got a NP231 for 1/2 tons and NP241 for light 3/4 tons, then Trucks with Dana 60 fronts be it 3/4 ton HD and 1 tons got a NP205 thru 1993. Everytime I see a Dodge truck from 80-93 with a Dana 60 front, I crawl under it, and see a NP205. My 1990 W-350 SRW with plow in the picture has a NP435 Dual PTO port trans Married to a NP205, with Dana 60 front, Dana 70 rear. The Grey-truck with stake racks (its for sale by the way...) with the Cummins Diesel has a 727 with NP205 hanging off the back. Both stout trucks.

If you need a NP208 for a Dodge and are close to Michigan. I am going tomrrow afternoon to pick up a 318, 727 and NP208 out of a 80's truck and if you need the transfer case, Id let it go for $100 if you help me pull it off. Let me know if I can help ya. Thanks!
