If you're pulling the std sled [38,000] pounds, then you need to be in a class of same trucks. Gears don’t matter much – it’s traction and horsepower. I once saw a guy with an M37 try and he made about a 10 feet pull before he lost traction. Try 15 or 20 pounds of tire pressure and go for it.
