Sorry, but this is the best picture I have available tonight of the Line-X Tread (walk) area on the running board. You can easily see the rear of the area, look close in the shadow and you can see the front edge. The Line-X wraps over the edge to make it look complete. The Satin Black was shot in 2002 and still looks new, since you dont ever walk on it. Line-X is a competitor to Rhino Coat. I like the Line-X better, I believe its a tougher finish. Its sprayed on hot with special equipment. Its about 3/16" think on the tread area. The link to Line-X is;
www.line-x.com you can read about the material, application and there is a dealer locater. You can not do it your self, special spray equipment is needed. It sets up in seconds after application. In 2002, I paid $55 for both running board tread areas.
