I use high quality wheel bearing grease, hand packed into the hub and around the joint. This question has been discussed a lot. There does not appear to be a definate answer. The picture is of the joint in my Carryall when pulled for total inspection. That joint had been in packed grease for over a year, with a lot of 4x4 miles. You can see the grease did nto spin off the joint.
