these trucks are a bargin
there is a big difference between a "HOME" restoration and a "Professional Shop" restoration such as Steve's. on these pws
you are looking at close to 2k in tires alone
new 9.00x16 michelin with tubes, flaps, freight, & mounting.
the texaco truck (done by Marcus Rilling in
Yerington,NV) is another example of a professional restoration
there are & have been 40k+ PWs (not on this
forum)
Chris is just finishing one which will be well over that figure (the Jungle Truck)
ccsammy saw it a few weeks ago
unrestored original trucks are sometimes worth more than those which have been "restored" by other than a professional restorer
the key word now is "Refurbish" or fix what needs to be fixed (brakes, etc) and enjoy it
without worrys (someone might scratch the paint, etc)
