Was hauling a load of belongings from storage to my house, cardboard boxes plastic moving containers, some wood folding chairs etc. in my 1942 WC 52. Going up a long grade at about 45 mph, faster than the logging trucks that frequently travel the highway, someone got mad about being stuck behind me for half a mile and when the opportunity to pass came up the sped by and flicked a ciggarette at me. i did not think much of it. Then about ten miles later I hear my tarp come loose so I pull over and get out to look and half of the stuff in the bed is in flames!! Plastic wood and all. Fortunately I almost always carry a fire ext. with me and got it out quickly. No damage to the truck either. My bed has steel plate and the sides have never been painted anyway. So, the impatient SOB cost me about $400. in lost items. I wish I could remember what they were driving............
