On the "sunshine coast" of British Columbia, just north of Vancouver. As I recally, it's on the mainland, but you have to take the ferry across Horseshoe Bay to get there. I used to work for a guy that had a summer place in that area and I'd drive his car up for him at the start of the season (he'd go up on his yacht).
