I have seen pictures of this stuff. there was 100,s of vehicles just left pearked at the side of the road. I gather the natives have com[plained about the abandoned equipmeny and some of it has been taken out. You would need to do a ton of reasearch before going in.
About 25 years ago I drove all the way to Alaska on back roads. I turned down one side road and found a old yard that had about 150 to 200 40 to 50 s trucks in it. No I would never be able to find it again. I had to push trees over to get in there in the first place. Not even sure what made me drive down the side road in the first place.
If you are serious about going the trip deserves some discussion and a ton of planning.
Some guy had a seasure working on my roof today. I am not sure what happened but he frose in one spot for about an hour an d kinda just stood there. I talked him down and got him watered up but his work this morning indicates he was not firing on all cylinders.
I am trying to beat the rain.
