Regarding propane: Quite a few industrial forklifts, and floorsweepers use Chrysler flathead sixes setup to burn propane. I'd look around at scrapyards that have lots of industrial equpment and check. Also check equipment with old Contenental engines and Hercules engines setup for propane because alot of the parts should be similar. BUT then again, now that I think more about it, most industrial machinery take updraft carbs, so you might-might not want to go that route after all. I am sure it can be done, just gotta do some creative scrounging. I'd also check with some antiqe tractor buffs as well.
