put a straight edge across the tire
measure down to the mounting flange
then measure down to the edge of the rim
deduct the edge of rim to the straight edge
from the mounting flange to the straight
edge & that is the backside setting
a 6.5 budd wheel is 7.5 or so from outer edge
to outer edge 7in sounds about right
i can measure if you need it but for what
the Budd wheels are the "strongest" pw
wheels made - none of the aftermarket junk
even comes close
the load is distributed correctly on the
bearings
ORWM - old race wheel man besides COTM
