Don't know if you'll still read this, but if you can find it (some auto part stores around here still have it) the Car wax/dye "As Seen on TV" a couple of years ago. It was a pretty good wax, but mainly the dye got into any areas that were faded. I had a black '81 Jag at the time, some spider-webbing in the paint around the gas tanks and it dyed it black every week. Just a thought to avoid a whole paint job for a while!
