I guess I will put in a third washer between the drum and the right shaft support. This "fix" will solve my problem of the drum sliding back and forth on the shaft. I have talked to several VPW folks and they have not seen this problem. I hope I can find a correctly assembled winch with no play, measure the parts, and see what the problem is. If you run across anything please let me know.
