I like it for the mere fact that someone tooks parts and made something that they wanted or needed. The guy who did this (a hack that it may be) was not building a show car. He did it so he could take his "family" camping. In this instance, it's not his love for the vehicle, but the means to do something with his family.... He may still really like the vehicles, but he did what he could with what he had available..
For that I like it and it fits my "Beaters are Neater" theme....
