Flat towing anything that has a spread four wheel stance like the M37, with a light vehical, is unsafe. The towed vehicle wants to run straight and if you have to brake during a corner the M37 will push you right around. If you were trailering it, with a good trailer and good trailer brakes, it would still be marginal when using a half ton.
