Its all a play on words. Somebody here in Detroit was smart in realizing that a majority of people think that because your an employee of an automaker you get a good deal. I qualifiy for the vendor discount for Chrysler, GM, and Ford and have found it to help very little. Its also interesting to note that when all the hype about 0% financing was on, nobody saw that base prices went up between $2500-$3500 and have stayed there ever since. You don't need an employee discount to get a good deal. Arthur hit the nail on the head, do your homework and shop around.
