To beat the rap is quite easy!! Essentially lean on them a bit and they WILL fold.
Visit the school and the Principal in a suit and tie, introduce yourself and literaly look he/she in the eyes and express how your son's actions of driving a particular style of vehicle does not exemplify any particular political beliefs or lifestyle. (Lifestyle is a biggie for the liberals)
Continue to explain that said vehicle is in a well maintained and safe operating condition, and your kid drives like Grandma Moses.
Listen to the response.
Pause and seem pensive for a second, and continue to say that "I trust this issue will not escallate on behalf of ONE MEMBER of YOUR staff reading into the subject of a CAR being a problem". "If needed, I WILL again call the local TV station who has expressed interest in filming the issue for the news. "Or, I may consider legal recourse."
Listen to the response, thank them for the time in their office and the use of their valuable time, and leave.
This will 90% assure you that the subject will instantaneously be dropped, and your kid will be free to occupy a prominent place in the lot for the M37. (With burnout privilidges)
Been there done that, when my kid parked his FJ40 at a 30 degree uphill angle up against a snowbank! :)
*How he got in and out of that thing amazes me!
