Gil,
In September, I did alot of research into moving a power wagon.
According to the stickers that are on the U-haul car transporter, the total wieght that the transporter can
haul is 4000lbs. The weight of the trailer is 2000lbs. You may have been missinformed, or heard it incorrectly.
This same U-haul sticker that is in plain sight, also state that the trailer should not go over 45MPH.
Most cars are 2500 to 3500lbs. Even if the u-haul trailer can handle a PW, which is approximately 5300lbs,
if something went wrong and someone got badly hurt or killed, you will probably be in jail.
These stickers are large, can't miss them.
The personnel at U-haul will ask you what you are towing and what the tow vehicle is. If they deem it unsafe, they
won't hook you up.
