I have a '54 C1PW6 with all the heavy duty options. I know it has 16965 miles on it as my Dad bought it new. I restored it last year and it has all the power and speed I need. Going up grades is a little slow and I can get to 55 if I have a load of dirt in the back and put it in neutral. Otherwise, it runs just fine.
Stop sniviling. Sell it to someone who will appreciate it for what it is. Then go buy a Toyota or other high speed machine and speed all you want.
PS. If you t-bone someone with a Power Wagon you will scratch the paint on the front bumper. I know, i did it. And you should of seen the fool who turned left in front of me.
