Hey Doug, I have about $500 in materials in this flatbed that I built myself. I used Ironwood decking for the wood and spaced it with 1/2" steel channel laid on end. The crossbracing is 3" channel, and the main frame (the two runners that bolt to the truck frame) is 5" and I cut out each side for the hump up over the axle on the power wagon frame. I also cut in small diamond tread "fenders" over the tires.
I can draw up some simple plans between naps and eatin' time at work, or I'd just sell this one for $500.
