This method is quite interesting. How critical is the amount of time in the tank? In other words, if the piece was left in overnight, will it be damaged or does the process stop when all of the rust and paint is gone? Obviously the electricity use is wasted. I assume it would also use up the soda ash solution quicker too. My train of thought here is for those who arent in their shops all the time, could they hook up a part, go to work (or bed) and let it cook for 10 hours and drop in another one the next day. I have to give this a try. Does it stink up the shop?
