The Battery Tray was hung in the Water/Soda Ash to a depth of 1/2 way. The voltage was set at 12 volts and the Current ran at 18 amps. Time in process was 5 hours.

In the bottom right picture you see the underside of the Battery Tray. It was heavily rusted and had paint in places. You can see the 1/2 way point where it was in the process, yet for another 2 inches up on the tray cleaning was established. The Bottom left picture is the top (inside) of the battery tray. Very heavy rust and corrosion. There were also areas of some material like Tar or Undercoating to protect against battery acid. I did not clean this material off. You can see the process was not real effective on the Tar/Undercoating or whatever it was. Yet some did come off and in time all would be released. I believe with a good mechanical cleaning first the outcome of the inside would have been much better.

Tomorrow, I am clipping the wire on my Big Toe and sticking my head in to see if it will make teeth whiter.
