I got my poly back from the machine shop and am ready to install the crank. I have found that the center flanged main bearing has an o.d. of 3.530,however my old bearing has an o.d. of 3.335. The cap and block are not machined deep enough to allow the larger flanged bearing to seat all the way. The parts books say that these should work in all 318's up to 1973. Has anyone ever encountered this before?
