You are right. I'll take whatever I can get. There were lots of M37s built and somewhere out there is a vehicle that's seen little use and not been modified. I found an M38A1 in Sonoma that was purcahsed by a rancher in 1948 from the military, used for a short while then parked in a shed for the next 40-some years. It was in amazingly good condition; original tires, spark plug wires, gages, seats, engine, zero rust and ran half decent. There are still out there but few and far bwtween. Anybody can buy a typical gov't surplused M37; they are a dime a dozen. The untouched ones are tough to find but the search is half the fun!
