basically you have two major types
the older steel crank built before 73 and the newer cast cranks.
the steel balancer look fairly uniform. while the cast balancer has a raised ramp counter weight.
and there are a few exceptions like the hp six pack balancer that has heavy connecting rods making nessary a balancer with a really big counter weight.
these are rare.
