Hi Dave,
I really encourage you to get your son into Scouts and you as well. Our Council is so-so, our District is pretty good. Where you see the difference is actually on the Troop level. Good Troop leaders will make the program alot of fun for the boys while lousy leaders wil drive them off in droves. Sign up and get involved! I have had tons of fun with other folks kids whose parents could care less. They are missing out on times that they will never get back. Their loss is my gain. See you in Maine!
