I have had a lot of luck using this method. Make sure you leave all the rim nuts on each stud for safety.
Take the valve stims out and let all the air excape. Losen the rim nuts but leave their full thickness on the threads of each stud. Then blow up the tire. Usually the air preasure pushing each side apart will break them. Do not stand over the wheel when you do this. I have taken 12 combat wheels apart this way with no problem but needless to say you have to watch what you are doing. I would love to hear better, ( and safer ways) to do this.
