I had the same thoughts
why would anyone take off tires with 10 to 20% wear no matter where the trucks are going
when they are worn out then put on new tires
one, two, three, or whatever
yes Michelin owns BFG (& Uniroyal) and what
really P's me off is they (michelin) are taking credit for the shuttle tire when it was US BFG Engineers that designed & built them not some frenchie
Goodyear is the LAST major US tire company
and it is not doing well
perhaps contact your elected leaders and have them buy AMERICAN for AMERICAN military vehicles.
