I really like the M-1 duel plane manifold that Mopar Performance puts out. Slap on a Carter / Edelbrock 625 w/ electric choke and you're set. This combo works really great on a stock to mild build 440.
I'd also suggest looking at both the fuel delivery and the ignition system to make sure they are not contributing to the problem.
