In my personal expirence of having run used1100-16 XL tires on my power wagon, Trail riding off-road with other people using 1100-16's (I'm talking, real off-road, not the back road into town) and having ridden in USMC LAV's with 1100-16 XL tires installed, you will never convince me that used tires off LAV's are not weaker in the sidewalls than the books in your extensive library would indicate.
I have personally seen wheels off of LAV's bent from striking obstacles head on at speed. I've seen LAV's and M35's airdropped and the axles bent up in a "U". Are you telling me that the tires they pull off those wheels and sell surplus are not weaker in the sidewall than specs on a new one?
This may be a hard pill for you to swallow, but theres a difference between book knowledge, and real world knowledge. I agree that a book is great to use as a GUIDE, but it's not always the definitive answer. It's called "thinking outside the box".

Anyway, As far as the tires themselves go, all I'm trying to do is inform the people who want to buy them, that they are used tires and not off Grandmas Escelade that only gets driven to church on Sundays. If I could buy 5 more of them for $200 per tire, I would in a second.
