Well, I made it again this year! For those coming north via I35, the bridge is closed over the Missouri River at Kansas City. You can detour via I435, or Hi.9. Since I435 was backed up this morning, I took Hi. 9. You get off on local streets right before the bridge and go a couple miles on local streets. Not too bad... I only got cut off once by someone in an SUV. As I skidded to a stop inches from her bumper, I'm sure she realized it was a stupid thing to do...

Bring your shorts and T-shirts. It's 92 and sunny this afternoon...
