They were around when I was a kid and some can still ce found. I saw a couple at a Lumber mill museum in central Oregon last year. It works like a grader with like 2- 36" turn wheels to lift and lower the blade, one for each side. We pulled it behind a 1/2 ton command vehicle, one in the truck, one on the grader. Depending on how much money you spent or how sophisticated you wanted to be there were different sizes and options available. It did an excellent job of gradeing.
