Hey guys,

Sorry I have lots of questions about this as I have never seen one mounted in the PW's. Our water truck at work is a 5 and 4 so I am familiar on how they work. I would be really interested in installing one in ours if it would work.

What make and model box would we use for our PW? Is Brownie the only manufacturer or is this a common name attached to all auxillary boxes?

Does anyone have pictures of their installation in the truck? How far do they hang down under the truck and reduce ground clearance?

How are they operated, do you need to use the clutch or do you shift with engine RPMs?

What modifactions would we have to make to install one behind the t-case?

What gear ratios are they, and can you use the Brownie in 4 wheel drive, for a deep reduction like on the truck and transfers I drive?

I drive truck for a living so having many levers in the cab would not be intimidating and fun to drive, as well as unique at a car show, or on the trail.

Any pictures anyone has would also be interesting.

Thanks,

Chris Becker
