My sister's boyfriend in college ended up being the mayor of Wallace, possibly in the 60's. His name was Maurice Palisere (French sp) I believe that he was convicted for fronting gambling and prostitution in Wallace. A favorite past time in a mining town. You can really build a freeway over the top of a town. Tom
