Pushing on brake and clutch puts lots or rearward force on the the cab mounts, so that is why that mount is the one that is stiffer? Modern stuff with hung pedals mean you don't need that, you push against the firewall instead of against the chassis where the pedals mount.

I made a set out of some surplus rubber/poly mallets that I picked up for $3 each. I sawed them in half, put them on my wood lathe and turned them to size/shape, then drilled holes. I haven't re-installed my cab yet though. I didn't like VPW's system of stacking up multiples as required from their set of 12 parts ($79?). And, I made mine thicker, body mount sag is a major contributor to noise when body touchs frame, and hoods scratching fenders when the body settles bringing the rear of the hood closer to the fender. I couldn't find any aftermarket poly body mounts that would fit and be cheap compared to making my own, but I don't know how well my mallets will hold up, they may be the best 'alloy', or may crumble in a week....
