Here in Pa, vehicles 25 years and older qualify for antique resgistration and tags. I haven't registered my truck yet(not road worthy) but two years ago when I inquired, it was a one shot deal of $75.00. Vehicle is exempt from inspection and exhaust emissions testing(vehicles older than 1985 mocel year or thereabouts are exempt from emissions testin ganyway, so its really only a repreive from inspections and yearly registratrion fees). Restrictions are limited to driving to and from shows, and or parades. Don't remember the milage restriction but it was less than 5K per year. Can only drive the vehicle one day a week.

The law is written pretty vaguely though. It says "one day per week", but nothing I read said anything regarding which day of the week, or if it had to be the same day each week, or even if it had to be a full day or what. I figure I could drive my truck everyday under that law in so much as I don't drive the truck more than 24 full hours in one week. As far as I'm aware noone checks up on these things anyway, so its not like I'm gonna get pulled over by the stateys and have them tell me "its only Monday and I'm not supposed to be driving this truck until Sunday", or somethin gto that effect. With laws so vague, you bet I will push the envelope.

Just gotta make sure the insurance coverage will blanket whatever driving I'll do. I'm going to make sure whatever insurence company I go with gives me a plan that will cover all my driving and will not be held soely to the registration restrictions. I'm sure it will probably be the latter though. I'm still gonna drive the truck whenever I want regardless. I was never one to follow every letter of the law anyway.
