I've had a 67 W200 crew cab with a slant 6 in it for years. A few years back I found a 2 barrel manifold for it and put it on. It gave it a bit of extra snoose, but I've tried a number of different 2 barrels on it and none really worked well. One day when I was fed up with yet another carb, my eyes lit an almost new Carter AFB I had laying around..why not? Works great! Idles & runs perfect on the small primary's, and pulls great when the secondary's open. Only hitch to getting it to work is that you have to make a spacer to go between the top of the intake manifold and the 2 barrel to 4 barrel carb adapter to clear the top of the stud and nut that hold the intake and exhaust manifolds together.
