If you have a big cork, or are pretty dextrous, you can do this single handed.

Disconnect the hoses, and plug upper, hold hand over or plug lower outlet.

Fill radiator with garden hose:

Remove plug/hand from lower outlet. You should get a full size flow from the fitting, that stops as if shut off. A slow flow/dribble with a sucking/whistling noise at the cap means tubes are plugged. Good flow means other probs, like head gasket, bad pump, bad timing.....
