I could not get the ball and ball carb to run right on the civiliand so I bought a Holley single barrel that was made for the flathead ford v8. The guy I bought it from sells these for a living along with other ford hot rod parts. He elongated the mounting holes a little and it bolted right on and the linkage hooked up with no problem. Runs like a sewing machine and uses regular holley jets. All you have to do is grind the "ford" off of the fuel bowl. He also has breathers for them. John
