rings

doing a rebuild on a 230 and need input on rings. Vintage has cast rings(surplus?)only. Said did not recomend to use moly rings in old flatheads.wasnt steve I talked to.(why not?)I ordered a set,& pistons but... Am I better off getting moly rings? are they available .060" ? where is a good source? any comments apreciated, thanks, John
