This motor is used in several different trucks, B-3-FL B-4-FL, B-3-F, B-4-F to name a few.

It is a 237ci in the B-3s and a 251ci in a B-4. In either case the engine should have a 25" head.

I do not have an engine number breakdown for that to show what year that engine was.

Sometimes there are clues in the parts books, and in this case you are lucky, I found the following note:

(B-3-F, B-3-G, after engine number T314-51013...)

This note says the T314 engine was at engine number 51013 while still being used in B-3 trucks, so your engine which is earlier must also be from a B-3. This means your engine is most likely a 1952 237ci engine.

I hope this helps!

Eric
