Gaskets in rear diff and axles

Hi guys, I'm still trying to get all the mechanical upgrades done and a rolling frame completed before putting the Carryall body on but now have a question. I switched the carrier (8 3/4") in the rear to a 1/2 ton (4.89) and used 1/2 ton axles. I used only 1 gasket on the 1/2 ton carrier and 1 gasket on the axles. After looking at the VPW website I noticed the 1/2 ton axles are 1/8" longer and comments on this site tell me some of you use multiple gaskets on the carrier and axles. I've ordered extra gaskets from VPW just in case either needs shimmed out a little but thought I would get other comments first. Should I move the carrier or axles out by using multiple gaskets or leave it alone? Thanks guys.
