I am not sure about the back, but you could do a forum search, it has been discussed before.
I read several threads on this subject when I rebuilt mine. The common thought was that re-arching alone will not hold up, you need to add a leaf also to help maintain the arch. That is what I had the spring shop do with my front springs.
Another comment I read was that the shackles should be fairly vertical if the springs have the right arch on an assembled truck.
