Melissa and I have looked at several of these trucks. From what we can garner that 1970 was the first year that disc brakes where offered on the front of 3/4 ton trucks.
This one has heavy duty disc on the front, drums on the rear and power assist brake booster, and all this came factory on this truck. No add ons by some previous owner. We'll be the third owner.
Thanks for all the input, as we value your opinions on this truck. We just want to be safe and have a decent towing vehicle that we can use on our limited budget. We are setting it up the best we can with improvements in the near future. Saftey is first and foremost on the list.
