How? Ethanol is political slight of hand, taking about as much energy to produce as it provides. High oil prices support expensive extraction. Until demand is smaller than supply we aren't going to see really inexpensive fuel. When you go shopping, what items are on deep discount, today's hot item or an overstock product? No tantrum is going to reduce fuel costs, only reigned in demand.
