Chris
On the Navy and Marine Internationals the 1/2 ton was a M-1-4 and the 1 ton was a M-2-4, the M-2-3 had 900x16 tires on a 5 lug combat rim just like the Dodge WC series.
The 1 1/2 tons were called M-3-4s and they had a 6 lug rim with a 900x20 tires. I have 1 M-2-4 and 2 M-3-4s here.
In Fred Crissmons book "US Military Wheeled Vehicles" he has a photo of a M-2-4 with 6 lug wheels, I think that photo is a pre-production truck or a truck that was being tested with a 6 lug rim. Every photo I have seen and M-2-4 I have seen all had 5 lug combat rims on them.
Hope this helps.
Not as lean, not as mean, but still a Marine. Frank
