Actualy I need expert advice on too many things and some not so expert guidance on some others.
First do any of you have any idea what type of limited slip Dana 60 came with ? I have 3 ford dana 60 rear ends. The pinion pin is placed in a slot and looks like it is designed to move under some condition. What on earth is this thing ? I keep finding picturs of the detroit locker but the pinions are fixed on all the pictures I have found.
I am going to look at a late dodge set of axles 95 - 2000 ? What should I watch for. Dana 70/80 rear and a dana front I think.
Also from a different truck I have a line on a 1996 318 , a 5 speed and transfer case- I was told I could get em cheap and they have 40,000 Kilometers on them. Again what kind of tranny is this ? ZF or the getrag. i do not really want a gasser but am willing to drop one in for a year or 2 while I hunt down a 4BTA.
