Did you check the drivers side for a number?
Maybe that is some part number, and the frame number is stamped on the other side?
Maybe it is drivers side 1946-1960, passenger side 1961-1965 1/2, and drivers side again from 1965 1/2 to 1968?
Either that or something else is going on.
Let me know what you find out, I am still trying to figure out the 1961 and up frame numbers.
