The 4 screws are all that hold the speedo in. The metal frame that holds the glass should be riveted to the speedo case but sometimes they get drilled out. The case is sometimes a fairly snug fit into the dash hole. If the cable is unhooked and the instrument lights are unhooked, it should come out.
If all else fails, get a bigger hammer.
